Experimental study on heat transfer performance of aluminum plate with surface micro-functional structure

Abstract

In order to improve the heat transfer performance of aluminum plate, a surface micro-functional structure is designed and fabricated on the aluminum plate surface. The heat transfer performance of the aluminum plate with surface micro-functional structure is experimentally studied. The results show that the surface micro-functional structure can significantly improve the heat transfer performance of the aluminum plate, and the heat transfer coefficient can be increased by up to 40% compared with the smooth aluminum plate.
